Ready for take off in more ways than one! Launching this blog and flying out tomorrow. Hoping to keep a journal on here of our trips and travels, no matter how short (day trips count too!). Exploring new and familiar places. Experiencing new and familiar cultures. Tasting new and familiar foods. I love writing and I love taking photos, so this blog will provide a space for me to do both. I have a stack of old notebooks and journals of previous travels and while I still love to write with a real pen on real paper, no one but me reads those notebooks. I know there are some family and friends who would like to share in my adventures and hear about my travels, so without further ado... off we go!
